Padayatra (Foot March) to be held in Patiala District on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th Birth Anniversary"
"On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th Birth Anniversary, a meeting was held at the District Patiala Youth Officer’s Office, which functions under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The meeting was attended by the in-charge, co-in-charges, and the District Youth Officer appointed by the Central Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Committee for the district.
Those who participated in the meeting included the District Patiala South President Harmesh Goyal, and from the committee appointed by the Center: the In-charge for District Patiala Urban S.K. Dev, Co-In-charges Anuj Khosla and Gurwinder Kansal; the In-charge for District Patiala North Pardeep Nanda, Co-In-charges Narinder Sood and Jarnail Singh; the In-charge for District Patiala South Jiwan Dutt Shaily, Co-In-charges Sikandvir Jindal and Kuldeep Sharma; and District Youth Officer Virdeep Kaur.
During the meeting, some important decisions were taken regarding the Padayatra. It was decided to hold a district press conference on October 30, 2025. Furthermore, to connect and encourage more youth in the district with social programs, the committee has decided to organize two (2) district-level Padayatras in Patiala district."
