Surrey Police Warns Pro-Khalistan Organizer Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa of 'Life Threat'
New Delhi April 16 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa, a Sikh activist based in BC, Canada, who is also a member of the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara, has been warned by the Surrey Police Service (SPS) that his life may be in danger. The SFJ says that Narinder Singh Randhawa, an organizer involved in the Khalistan independence movement, has been issued a "duty to warn" in view of a serious threat to his life. According to the SFJ, the SPS says the warning was based on intelligence received from the RCMP and several other law enforcement agencies. The group says the activist first received a duty to warn notice by phone on April 11, and then it was confirmed two days later, after which the police have also contacted his wife. It is worth mentioning here that Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa participates in protests outside the Indian Consulate in Vancouver. This warning comes in the backdrop of ongoing threats against Sikh activists in Canada who are involved in pro-Khalistan advocacy. Sikhs and the Canadian government have implicated the Indian government in the high-profile killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June 2023, which the Indian government has denied. Bhai Randhawa said that they are trying to silence my voice, stop my campaign such as referendum and protest. I am not afraid and I will continue my campaign. Bhai Randhawa and his friend, Bhai Manjinder Singh, hold monthly protests in front of the Indian Consulate in Vancouver on the 18th of every month.
