In the 2nd Gun Field Open Shooting Championship-2026 held in Noida, Sukhjit Kaur proved her shooting prowess and won a magnificent gold medal. About 1200 shooters from all over the country participated in this prestigious championship. Which included top players from states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. In this tough competition, Sukhjit Kaur performed brilliantly in the sub-youth and youth categories, scoring 388 marks out of 400 and bagging the gold medal by securing the first position. On this great achievement of Sukhjit Kaur, Barnala DC Harpreet Singh himself honored the student by giving her a medal.
