New Delhi, February 26 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa): - Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit to India is becoming a cause of huge protests for him, yesterday the Carney government refused to make public the evidence and documents related to the murder of Shaheed Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar, which clearly shows his intention to show off India. In this regard and against the visit to India, Sikh organizations from all over Canada gathered in Ottawa and expressed their opposition by staging massive protests despite heavy snowfall and bad weather, especially the members of Team Shaheed Nijjar who had arrived from Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. Team Nijjar members said that increasing closeness with India and strengthening trade relations by putting the lives of Sikhs at stake and hanging their heads is a betrayal of Sikhs. When governments are formed, big and true false promises are made to Sikhs, but later not supporting Sikhs exposes the face of the governments. Not building relations with India is not only a big betrayal of Sikhs but also of human rights and the people of Canada. The Singhs and the Sangat who came to protest were standing firm even in bad weather. They made a large-scale demand to the Punjabi MPs of Canada to stand up for the case of Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar and put pressure on the government. The Sikh Sangat present said that otherwise this MP should resign and clear his stand. Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa said that the next center for voting for the referendum will be in Seattle, Washington on March 22, so the Sangat should work hard to make it successful. Bhai Randhawa strongly condemned the Punjab government and said that the Bhagwant Mann government is creating a dark era of endless suffering in Punjab by creating false encounters. In the last three months, many families have been destroyed due to countless encounters. Therefore, there will be heavy opposition during their foreign visits and pressure will be exerted on foreign governments to cancel their visas.
