Fazilka SSP appeared at the Secretariat Sri Akal Takht Sahib, apologized for the police action in the Sri Darbar Sahib Parkrama

In the case of the police taking action in the Parkrama of Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib without the permission of the organizers and picking up two persons, today, the Senior Superintendent of Police of Fazilka district S. Gurmeet Singh reached the Secretariat Sri Akal Takht Sahib to present his side in this matter and apologize for the mistake made by the police.
On this occasion, SSP S. Gurmeet Singh met the Jathedar Singh Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib at the Secretariat and gave him his explanation and apologized for the mistake made. Talking to the media in this regard, Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj said that the central religious place of Sikhs, Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib, teaches the world about universal brotherhood and its four doors are open to every human being. He said that people from all over the world come here to pay homage with devotion. He said that SSP of Fazilka S. Gurmeet Singh has put forward his stand and he has been asked to submit it in writing. He said that S. Gurmeet Singh has realized that the way five policemen of his district entered the precincts of Sri Darbar Sahib in the past, they should not have gone like that. The police have assured that such a mistake will not happen again in the future. He said that nothing should ever happen at Sri Darbar Sahib which spoils the atmosphere here and hurts the sentiments of the congregation.
