Akal Takht Sahib vowed to take the Khalistan struggle to its destination
The 40th anniversary of the Khalistan Declaration will be celebrated on a grand scale on April 29
New Delhi, January 27 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa): Four pro-independence Sikh organizations – Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara Committee, Dal Khalsa, Panch Pardhani Jatha and Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar jointly celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Sarbat Khalsa held at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on January 26, 1986. On this occasion, a joint function was organized near Gurdwara Santokhsar Sahib in Sri Amritsar on January 26, 2026. The function was addressed by Professor Baljinder Singh, former Member of Parliament and President of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar, Simranjit Singh Mann, Panch Pardhani Jatha, Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu and Dal Khalsa Political Secretary S. Kanwarpal Singh. After the conclusion of this conference, all the attendees marched to Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the joint declaration and pledge were read out in front of Akal Takht Sahib. The responsibility of reading the joint declaration was taken up by the acting president of Dal Khalsa, Bhai Paramjit Singh Mand, on behalf of the four organizations. The activists of the organizations, who took to the streets holding Khalistan flags in their hands, raised slogans of Khalistan Zindabad during the march. In this declaration, it was announced that the Khalsa Panth, in consultation with the Panth-supporting groups and organizations around the world, will prepare the rules and regulations of the “Sarbat Khalsa” and “Gurmata” organizations and present them to the Sikh world so that a common consensus can be reached in the Khalsa Panth on how to convene and run the Sarbat Khalsa in today’s times – under which the participation and representation scale, deliberation, decision-making process, institutional security arrangements, standards of transparency, and respectful methods of implementing and reviewing the Gurmata will be determined in accordance with Khalsa tradition and principles.” On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Khalistan Declaration, the four organizations, keeping in mind the experience of the past forty years of struggle, the current Panthic and international circumstances, coordinated with the pro-Khalistan Sikh groups, organizations, organizations, etc., to formulate a “common strategy” for the future strategy of the Khalistan struggle. A policy document will be prepared and presented to the Sikh world. In this declaration, a pledge has been made to ‘commit to a sovereign independent state for Punjab’ and ‘hand over the reins to the youth’.
