Regarding Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj's Attention: Sikhs being Banned from Entering the Gurdwara at Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib, Surrey, Canada
👉 Restriction also Imposed on Women and Children who Perform the Seva (Service) of Chupahira Sahib
👉 If a Sikh does not go to the Gurdwara Sahib, where will he go? He will start bowing at the places of worship of other religions.
New Delhi, October 24 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- On the occasion of Bandi Chhor Diwas recently, officiating Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh had stated from the ramparts of Takht Sahib that no one can be stopped from bowing before Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib inside any Gurdwara Sahib. On the other hand, contrary to this, at the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, Canada, the acting President Amandeep Singh and General Secretary Bhupinder Singh Hothi are arbitrarily banning and preventing Sikhs from bowing their heads inside the Gurdwara. According to the information received, they are also allegedly getting activities done such as defaming and assaulting those who question them about the Gurdwara Sahib, due to which there is huge resentment among the congregation against them. Similarly, false theft allegations have been made against Committee member Sardar Avtar Singh Khaira, who was closely associated with Shaheed Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar in performing service. Bhai Manjinder Singh Khalsa was attacked and hospitalized in a serious condition, and unidentified assailants also attacked and injured Sikhs who had returned after demonstrating in front of the Indian Embassy. We had also published news about this on September 2, 2025. Violence took place inside the Gurdwara, which resulted in the desecration of turbans and hair, and the bones of an elderly Panthic Singh were also broken. Since a police report has been filed regarding the attack on Bhai Manjinder Singh and the attack by unidentified persons, the matter has reached the police, and legal action is underway against those named in the case, which is proof that all is not well there. Similarly, women and children who perform seva (service) in Chupahira Sahib have been banned from reciting Gurbani and performing seva. To prevent the Singhs who are pursuing the case from becoming Gurdwara Sahib members, they are being forced to stay home by giving them letters. All members of Team Nijjar, being banned by the Government of India, cannot pay obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and have also been banned from going to Bhai Nijjar's martyrdom place. The Canadian congregation is waiting to see what decision Officiating Jathedar Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj takes to save the honor of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib, which is a place of martyrdom, and they have appealed to the Sikh congregations across the country and abroad to come forward. It is noteworthy that seven committee members among the management of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara are currently standing with these struggling Singhs, who are being oppressed by the two committee members, the President and the General Secretary. The congregations are requested to hold them accountable, question them, and resolve this issue. Talking about this, one Singh emotionally said that if a Sikh does not go to the Gurdwara Sahib, where will he go? He will start bowing at the places of worship of other religions. Jathedar Akal Takht Sahib must immediately intervene in this serious matter and find a solution.
