👉 Primary membership of three former presidents was allegedly terminated under pressure from Delhi government
New Delhi, October 25 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- Politics has flared up over the decision taken during the general meeting of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee to allegedly terminate the primary membership of three former presidents. Former president Manjit Singh GK, while talking to the media on this issue, has launched a strong verbal attack on the intention, policy and legal ignorance of Delhi Committee President Harmeet Singh Kalka on this issue. GK said that Kalka knew that there is no provision in the Delhi Committee Act to terminate the membership of an elected member. Therefore, he admitted before the media today that he was under pressure from the Delhi government for this act. To complete this illegal and immoral work and to secure his seat, Kalka, ignoring the ban imposed on the general session by the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, considered playing the role of a 'deep state' actor as a deal of benefit for his political career. GK challenged Kalka to show the official gazette notification of the termination of the membership of the Sarna brothers and me. Whereas, to please his master, Kalka has used the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to create a spectacle with malicious intent. Not only this, Harmeet Singh Kalka has gone beyond his grandfather Jaswant Singh Kalka as an actor of the 'deep state'. The grandfather had challenged Sri Akal Takht Sahib, but the grandson has also played with the importance and devotion of Sri Guru Granth Sahib along with Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Because behind the alleged termination of my membership, a conspiracy has been hatched to silence my voice that resonates for the nation. GK announced that he will file a criminal complaint for inciting religious sentiments, legal action for defamation and a complaint of religious disrespect to Sri Akal Takht Sahib against the accused of this fraud committed by the Delhi Committee. GK called Kalka an idiot and said that by issuing the memorandum to the employees to the former presidents and fellow members elected by the Sangat, he has exposed his lack of understanding and administrative ability. GK alleged that this action taken against us is an exercise to spoil the programs of the martyrdom anniversary and distract the attention of the Sangat from other important Panthic issues. Because Kalka has put forward the government compulsion by rejecting the letters sent by SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami to postpone the session and Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib to stop the session there. GK challenged Kalka and said that he was a member yesterday, is a member today and will be a member tomorrow. Because my membership can only end with my resignation, death or election. On this occasion, Advocate Naginder Benipal termed the entire action of the Delhi Committee as wrong and fabricated on the legal ground and defined it as a violation of the Delhi Committee Act and rules. Because the Delhi Director Election Directorate had sent a copy of its order to GK, saying that since all the cases were pending in the court, it would not comment officially on their complaints. On this occasion, Delhi Committee members Paramjit Singh Rana, Jatinder Singh Sonu, Satnam Singh, Mahinder Singh, Surinder Singh Dara and Akali leaders Dr. Parminder Pal Singh, Ramandeep Singh Sonu, Gunjit Singh Bakshi, Sukhman Singh Sahni, Bakshish Singh, Manjit Singh and Raja Singh Chawla were present.
