Rupnagar/Sri Anandpur Sahib, October 29 (Jatinder Pal Singh Kaler) Gunfire was fired at a politician and businessman in broad daylight today in Agampur village near Sri Anandpur Sahib. According to the information received on the spot, it has been learned that 2 bullets were fired, of which Nitin Nanda has been the victim.According to the doctors, Nitin Nanda was brought to the Civil Hospital of Sri Anandpur Sahib for treatment, where doctors are conducting a preliminary examination. According to the doctors, there is a mark on the head, which has been referred to PGI after providing first aid.
The rest of the police are engaged in the investigation to see if this is a case of mutual enmity or if any other case comes to light.
It is said that Nitin Nanda is the former Shiv Sena president of Ropar district and has previously contested elections from Anandpur Sahib constituency as an independent candidate and Shiromani Akali Dal Bahujan Samaj Party candidate. The current vice president of Ropar district is Aam Aadmi Party and has previously contested elections from Anandpur Sahib constituency as an independent candidate and Shiromani Akali Dal Bahujan Samaj Party candidate. A case has been registered at Sri Anandpur Sahib police station on this occasion. Giving information, Gurdeep Singh Gosal SP Rupnagar while giving information to the journalists said that a case has been registered against the persons who opened fire on Nitin Nanda in which the names of three persons have been mentioned, two of whom are named and one person is unknown. On this occasion, senior police officials said that the accused should be taken into custody by the police immediately and appropriate legal action should be taken against them.
