Mansa October 31:- (Gurpreet Dhaliwal) On October 28, two youths, who are being called gangsters, opened fire in broad daylight at a pesticide shop near Police Station City-1, causing fear and panic in the city. The city's commercial, religious, social, public democratic organizations and political parties have completely shut down Mansa city to restore peace and order, and to immediately arrest the gangsters and anti-social elements, expose the conspirators of the incident, and to suspend the responsible police officers, District Police Chief Mansa and Police Station City-1 in-charge, with immediate effect, and to take departmental action. The citizens have demanded from the Chief Minister of Punjab and the DGP of Punjab to bring them in. But unfortunately, the district police administration has not taken any action in this regard so far, but is only talking and talking. While the entire city is forced to live under the shadow of terror. In this regard, an important meeting of the Sangharsh Committee formed for the restoration of law and order was held at the local Sri Laxmi Narayan Mandir under the chairmanship of Jatinder Agra. During the meeting, various speakers condemned the lax performance of the police administration and some important resolutions were also passed. After the cremation of the mortal remains of Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann at Baran Hattan Chowk, a press conference was also held by the leaders. Apart from this, the organizations and political parties involved in this struggle staged a protest with black flags in protest. Along with this, a special committee consisting of Dhanna Mal Goyal, Krishan Chauhan and Ankus Jindal was also appointed to issue the press note and Munish Babbi Danewalia, Nazar Singh Mansa, Ruldu Singh Mansa, Shamir Chhabra, Rajwinder Singh Rana for the press conference. During the meeting, the leaders also strongly appealed to all organizations, political parties and justice-loving people to join this public interest struggle. In the meeting, Bhim Sen Goyal, Satish Kumar Neetu and Advocate Gurlabh Mahal, Baljit Sharma, Shamir Chhabra, Chamkaur Singh Musa, Satish Goyal, Harvinder Bhardwaj, Dr. Janak Raj, Balvinder Singh Gharagna etc. from the victim family shared their views.
