 Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was held on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Bhai Beant Singh

New Delhi, October 31 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- On the occasion of the martyrdom day of national warrior Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh, Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was held by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee with the support of the Sangat at Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Gurbaksh Singh Ji located in the Sri Darbar Sahib complex. On this occasion, the Jatha of Hazuri Raagi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Bhai Gurdev Singh Khalsa performed Gurbani Kirtan and after the Ardas, the Holy Hukamnama was recited by Granthi Singh Sahib of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Baljit Singh. Discussing with the Sangat on the occasion, Giani Baljit Singh said that the Sikh community can never forget the attack on the holy places of the Sikh community, Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib and other Gurdwaras by the then Indian government in 1984. He said that Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh, Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh and Shaheed Bhai Kehar Singh, who represented the sentiments of the Sikh community after the attack on Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, are and will always be highly respected by the Sikh community. Meanwhile, the family members of the Shaheed Singhs were honored by presenting them with Siropas.
