                        A grand tribute event dedicated to the death anniversary of Maharaja Duleep  Singh



New Delhi, October 29 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- A grand event was organized in the city of Thetford, England, on the death anniversary of Maharaja Duleep Singh, the last king of the Sikh kingdom. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, a tree was planted in the memory of Sikh soldiers and Maharaja Duleep Singh, for which a long process had to be passed to get approval. A memorial service was organized at the tomb of Maharaja Duleep Singh, offering floral tributes to him, during which Bhai Rasal Singh's Dhadi Jatha, S. Manjit Singh Samra and other preachers and speakers shed light on the life of Maharaja Duleep Singh and the history of the Sikh kingdom. Shaheed Bhai Avtar Singh Khanda specially mentioned that during the struggle for the Khalsa kingdom, he always remembered Maharaja Duleep Singh and often visited his tomb. This event was organized like every year by Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara, Baba Ram Singh, Head of Damdami Taksal Sangrawan, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar UK (Regd.) Luton Gurdwara Sahib and Naujawan Sabha Luton and we would like to express our special gratitude to all the devotees who accepted the request and attended this program with great enthusiasm.
