Three Canadian Members of Parliament paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Advocate Dhami honored them
New Delhi, February 14 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- Canadian Members of Parliament S. Jasraj Singh Hallan, S. Amanpreet Singh Gill and S. Dalwinder Singh Gill today paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and expressed their respect. On this occasion, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, Senior Akali Leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema and Chief Secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee S. Kulwant Singh Manan honored S. Jasraj Singh Hallan, S. Amanpreet Singh Gill, S. Dalwinder Singh Gill and senior journalist S. Sukhjinder Singh Chohla at the Information Center of Sri Darbar Sahib by giving them a golden model of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, siropa and religious books. On this occasion, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the Guru has blessed the Sikhs to work for the welfare of all wherever they are. Under this, Sikhs living in the country and the world are making great strides by working according to the Guru's wishes. On the soil of Canada too, Sikhs have achieved great positions in business as well as politics. Advocate Dhami said that it is a matter of happiness that Canadian members of Parliament S. Jasraj Singh Hallan and S. Amanpreet Singh are completely in the Sikh form, who are a source of inspiration for the youth. He said that while the young MPs are doing great services in their field, they are also making a big contribution to the propagation of Sikhism. He welcomed the SGPC on his arrival in Sri Amritsar and expressed his commitment to provide all kinds of support for the propagation of Sikhism in Canada. On this occasion, senior Akali leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that it is a matter of pride that there are a large number of Punjabi MPs in the Canadian Parliament, from whom the community has always had high expectations. He said that they are also rendering excellent services in their field. S. Cheema appealed that our youth should always be connected to their soil and heritage, for this, efforts should be made. Meanwhile, Canadian Members of Parliament S. Jasraj Singh Hallan, S. Amanpreet Singh Gill, S. Dalwinder Singh Gill expressed their gratitude and said that with the blessings of Guru Sahib, they have got the privilege of paying obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib today. They said that they always feel proud to serve humanity by wearing a turban according to the Guru's philosophy and always try to be united and strive for the growth of Sikhism. He mentioned that the day he took oath as a member of the Canadian Parliament was the day the Komagata Maru ship was returned from Canada. He said that this is also a big inspiration for him to work with more dedication. He also thanked SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and others for the honor received from the SGPC.
