Massive protest in front of Indian Embassy on completion of 960 days of martyrdom of Shaheed Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijhar
👉 Massive protest will be held on Parliament Hill, Ottawa on February 25
New Delhi, February 20 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- A massive protest was held by Canadian Singhs in front of the Indian Embassy in Vancouver, Canada, dedicated to the martyrdom day of Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijhar and Shaheed Bhai Deep Sidhu, who were martyred in the ongoing struggle to remove the chains of slavery from the neck of the sect. While protesting at the Indian Embassy in Vancouver, slogans of Khalistan Zindabad were raised and the demand to close the consulate was reiterated. Hundreds of Khalistani supporters attended the protest and showed their awakened conscience, the Indian flag was desecrated. Speaking to the media, Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa said that while there is no justice for the Sikh community in India, a country like America stands in support of the Sikhs, which is a great and proud thing. He said that Canadian Sikhs and members of Shaheed Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar team will gather on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on February 25 to demand complete transparency and accountability in the killing of Shaheed Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar, former president of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib. He said the rally has been planned amid concerns regarding an application filed in the Federal Court by lawyers representing the Attorney General of Canada. The application filed in the court seeks to prevent certain national security information from being disclosed during criminal proceedings, on the grounds that disclosure could be detrimental to “international relations and national security”. Community representatives argue that transparency in the judicial process is fundamental to maintaining public trust in Canadian institutions. They express concern that withholding evidence could raise questions about whether diplomatic considerations are being prioritized over full legal accountability. Team Nijjar says the February 25 rally aims to call on parliamentarians and community leaders to support transparency, uphold the rule of law and ensure that justice is served without compromise. “Justice and accountability are fundamental to Canadian sovereignty.” No diplomatic consideration should override the right to a full and transparent judicial process. The protest was attended by a large number of devotees, including Bhai Gurmeet Singh Toor, Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa, Bhai Avtar Singh Khaira, Bhai Manjinder Singh Khalsa, Bhai Charanjit Singh, Bhai Daljit Singh, Bhai Rajinder Singh, Bhai Karnail Singh Tut, Bhai Jarnail Singh, Bhai Jaig Singh, Bhai Ajaypal Singh.
