Special seminar on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Sarbat Khalsa of 1986 at Southall Gurdwara Sahib, UK
New Delhi, January 28 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- Gurdwaras, Panthic organizations and youth groups in Britain collectively celebrated the 40th anniversary of the historic Sarbat Khalsa held at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on January 26, 1986, which was held in response to the atrocities of the Indian state and the 1984 Sikh genocide. It is worth mentioning that large Panthic gatherings are held in the country and abroad to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the historic Sarbat Khalsa held at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on January 26, 1986, in response to the atrocities of the Indian state. The Sarbat Khalsa held at Southall Gurdwara Sahib in the UK passed key resolutions reaffirming Sikh independence and the right to self-determination, remembering the martyrs of June 1984 and giving a common direction to the Panth. The event discussed these historic decisions and also considered their significance in today's context. The keynote speakers present at the event were Bhai Dabinderjit Singh, Bhai Jaspal Singh Maan Dal, Bhai Prabhjot Singh Canada, Bhai Joginder Singh Bal, Bhai Hardish Singh, Bhai Lavshinder Singh Dallewal, Bhai Charan Singh, Bhai Gurnam Singh President Gurdwara BABS, Bhai Narinder Singh, Bhai Kulwant Singh Muthadda, Bhai Jas Singh, Bhai Gurmail Singh Mali, Bhai Kuldeep Singh Chaheru, and discussed some of the key resolutions reaffirming Sikh sovereignty and honouring the martyrs of June 1984. The service of stage secretary in the program was performed very efficiently by Bhai Gurmeet Singh.
