The value of Indian rupee against dollar is extremely shameful, if Khalistan is established, our currency will be ‘Damra’: Mann
New Delhi 5 December (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- “This is such a shameful and internationally shameful act for India that today the value of Indian rupee against dollar is Rs 90 and the reputation of Indian currency is falling. Due to such directionless and arbitrary actions and actions of Modi government, India’s position has become weak at the international level due to which when goods come to India from outside, Indian residents will have to pay a very high price for those goods. Due to which the residents of this place will suffer huge losses financially.” These views were expressed by S. Simranjit Singh Mann, President Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), expressed deep sorrow over the decline in the international value of the Indian rupee and termed the fall in the value of the rupee to Rs 90 as shameful. He said that when we were part of the Lahore Khalsa Raj Darbar, the international value of our currency was not only high, but scholars and educated people from European and Western countries felt proud to join the Lahore Khalsa Raj Darbar and the army. This is the reason why there were a large number of officers from countries like Italy, Germany, Britain, Russia etc. in the army of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Whenever in the coming time, thanks to our democracy and peaceful struggle, Khalistan is going to be established on the map of the world, its currency will not be rupee or dollar but will be ‘Damra’ which will have a higher status in the world than the dollar.
