New Delhi, December 7 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- Bhai Pritpal Singh Chawla, head of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Sarva Dharam Seva Samiti, organized an all-religion conference dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and his fellow Sikhs Bhai Satidas Ji, Bhai Matidas Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji University, Surajmal Vihar. In this, leaders of different religions were present and presented their views on the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. The program was started by the women with Japji Sahib, Salok Mohalla 9th path, after which the speakers shared their views. Padma Shri Gurmeet Singh Shanti said that the world's first voice for the protection of human rights was raised by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. Muslim leader Dr. Imam Umar Ilyasi said about the massacre of Sikhs in November 1984 that the perpetrators of this massacre were devils and even today, remembering the conditions he saw in those days, his hair stands on end. He said that when every religion talks about humanity, then why such discrimination..? Manju Qureshi said that your chants have the power to shake the roots of not only the Mughal religion but also every government. Where did that passion go?..? He said that if we talk about the ninth and tenth kings of the Sikhs, our hair stands on end even today. Father Afilash, who was present on behalf of Christianity, said that despite being a Christian, I salute the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. Iqbal Singh Lalpura had enlightened the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and his fellow Sikhs in the light of Gurbani. Sardar Paramjit Singh Sarna, President of Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi Unit, told in very beautiful words about the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and his fellow Sikhs that at the age of 14, during the war against the Mughals, you wielded the sword with such bravery that your father started calling you Tegh Bahadur. Guru Sahib Ji was the owner of a lofty and pure personality. You were a great thinker, accomplished artist, social reformer. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's martyrdom holds a unique place in Indian history. Your martyrdom breathed a new soul into the sleeping nation and the main reason for your martyrdom was the revolutionary ideology of Gursikhism. Delhi Committee member Jatinder Singh Sonu served as the stage secretary and Guru Ka Langar was served at the end of the program. Sardar Pritpal Singh Chawla honored the speakers and the people who supported the program and thanked all the devotees for their presence.
