Sukhbir Badal's hard work brings colour to Akali revival in Tarn Taran by-election: Sarna
New Delhi, November 14 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- Delhi Akali Dal chief Paramjit Singh Sarna said that the Shiromani Akali Dal's second position in the Tarn Taran by-election is a sign of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal's newfound acceptance among a wide mix of voters. Speaking to reporters, Sarna said that many families in the constituency see Sardar Badal as someone who had been there during a difficult year. Pointing to the party president's long visits to flood-hit villages and coordination of relief operations, he said that these moments brought him directly in touch with people who felt abandoned by the larger political narratives. According to Sarna, this close connection matters more than social media claims in Tarn Taran that “mobilisation” clauses are being extended against the Shiromani Akali Dal due to a few loud-mouthed dissidents. Sarna argued that this result gives the party a platform to rebuild in Majha and shows that Akali politics carries weight when linked to visible action and local presence.
