👉 Demand to close Indian embassies in Canada is strong

New Delhi, November 1 (Manpreet Singh Khalsa):- On October 31, 2025, a call was given to surround the Indian embassies in Canada, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, in which a large number of Khalistani Singhs from the east to the coast of Canada demonstrated in front of the Indian embassies. The heirs of the former chief servant of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib Surrey Canada, Shaheed Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was martyred by being shot dead within the confines of the Guru Ghar, surrounded the Indian embassy for 10 hours and staged a large-scale protest. On this occasion, the protesters strongly raised the demand to close the Indian Embassy. Gurdwara Sahib Secretary Bhai Gurmeet Singh Toor said that the Indian Embassy should be closed and government action should be taken against the Indian Consulate. Since Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Verma and Consulate Manish Kumar have fled Canada, a demand was also raised to bring them under Canadian law and punish them. Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa said that Dinesh Patnaik, the new face of India in Canada who is being appointed as the High Commissioner in Ottawa, is also following the path of the previous ambassadors, which is why he is being strongly opposed by Sikh organizations. During the protest, the Indian tricolor was desecrated. On this occasion, a large number of Sikh Sangat including the administrators of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib Bhai Gurmeet Singh Toor, Bhai Narinder Singh Randhawa, Bhai Avtar Singh Khaira, Bhai Manjinder Singh, Bhai Rajinder Singh Natt, Bhai Ranjit Singh Sahota, Bhai Charanjit Singh, Jaig Singh, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur to Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa Karnail Singh Tut had expressed their opposition by showing their presence in the protest. Similarly, under the leadership of Jathedar Santokh Singh Khela from Montreal and Bhai Inderjit Singh Gosal from Toronto, the Sikhs had raised their voice by staging a protest in front of the Indian Embassy. He said that the next phase of the referendum will be held on 23 November 2025 in Ottawa, Canada, which has been appealed to reach in large numbers to make it successful.
