Batala, October 29 (Baldev Singh Khalsa, Sunil Batalvi): Batala Police has achieved major success in online fraud cases. DSP (Crime Against Women and Children) Rajesh Kakkar said during a press conference that in the past few years, Rs 14 lakh 34 thousand have been returned to the victims who were cheated in the name of trading and investment. He said that as per the orders of the honorable court, Rs 19 lakh 20 thousand 501 have also been returned to them so far. DSP Kakkar said that this entire operation was carried out by SSP Batala is part of a special campaign being run under the guidelines of Suhail Qasim Mir. Under this campaign, many victims have been relieved by the continuous hard work of the team of Police Station Cyber Crime Batala. They warned the people not to share their OTP or bank information with any unknown person.• Do not open any suspicious link on the mobile. If any person asks for money by posing as a police, CBI or bank officer, then immediately file a complaint at the Cyber Crime Police Station or helpline number 1930. Stay away from any kind of online loan or earning scheme and do not fall for the lures like work from home.
On this occasion, Police Station Cyber Crime Batala SHO Inspector Rajandeep Singh, SI Iqbal Singh, ASI Kulwant Singh and ASI Harpal Singh along with other officers were present.
