 Punjab Football Association to organize Sub-Junior National Football Championship 2025-26 “Justice Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy”

                       Football games to start on October 27 at Mount Litera Zee School

To create a bright future for the children of Amritsar district in education, “Mount Litera Zee School” was started this year itself under the able leadership of Chairman S. Magwinder Singh Khaparkheri Member SGPC, Vice Chairman Advocate Kunwar Mubarak Singh, Dr. Satnam Singh and Navdeep Kaur. Mount Litera Zee School has achieved great achievements in a short period of time and has started important initiatives to connect children with various sports to keep them healthy.

Under which, under the leadership of Punjab Football Association, in collaboration with the management of Launt Litera Zee School, the Punjab Football Association and Sub-Junior National Football Championship is being organized from 27 October 2025 to 6 November 2025 at Launt Litera Zee School ground and Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Football Stadium, village Kirtangarh, in which football teams from 16 states are participating.

In this regard, Deputy Secretary General of Punjab Football Association Vijay Bali and Vice Chairman Advocate Kanwar Mubarak Singh jointly informed that we are proud that the organization of the famous Sub-Junior National Football Championship Justice Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy 2025-2026 has been entrusted to Punjab by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). This national level tournament will be held in Amritsar from 27 October to 6 November 2025, which is a historic initiative for the city of Amritsar. He said that the matches will be played at two major playgrounds. Mount Litera Zee School, Thande Village, Amritsar and Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Football Stadium, Kirtangarh, Amritsar.

Teams from 16 states are participating in this tournament, such as children from Punjab, Goa, Kerala, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Manipur, Mizoram, Odisha and Bihar.

The inauguration of this football tournament will be held on 27th October 2025 at Mount Litera Zee School at 09:00 AM. In this, there will be a match between the teams of Manipur and Bihar and at 3:00 PM, Mizoram and Odisha.

Second match: - Karnataka and West Bengal will be played at Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Football Stadium, Kirtangarh, Amritsar at 09:00 AM and the second match will be played between Assam and Uttar Pradesh at 3:00 PM.

Full technical support has been provided by the organizing team at both the venues, so that the championship can be organized smoothly.

On this occasion,

Travel World with US and Cozy Hotels have made arrangements for the accommodation and travel of the teams. While Sharma Transport is providing local transportation facilities for the players and officials.

The football tournament will be held at Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Football Stadium, Kirtangarh, by MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta, Halqa Central Amritsar. On this occasion, S. Gurdev Singh Gill (Arjuna Awardee, Football) Senior Vice President, Punjab Football Association and S. Harjinder Singh (Former International Player, Secretary General Punjab FA) will lead the ceremonies at both the grounds.

All the matches will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel of Punjab Football Association “punjabfootball”.

On this occasion, Chairman of Launt Litera Zee School Magwinder Singh Khaparkheri, Member SGPC, Vice Chairman Advocate Kanwar Mubarak Singh, Directors Satnam Singh and Navdeep Kaur, National Football Player Sarpanch Sukhdev Singh Kirtangarh, School Principal Jaswinder Kaur Sethi, National Player Coach Deepak Kumar, National Player Mohit Hooda and Vijay Bali, Deputy Secretary General Punjab Football Association and Chairman Competition Committee of India Football Federation and other officials were present.
