FIR Registered Against AAP MLA — Hear the Legislator’s Clarification

An FIR has been registered against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kulwant Bazigar and his two sons, along with nine others, at the Ramthali police post in Kaithal district. The case, filed by Gurcharan Singh of village Chicharwali (Patiala’s Shutrana constituency), alleges that the MLA and his associates kidnapped and assaulted a youth.
According to police sources, the incident is believed to be linked to a rivalry over village sarpanch elections.
MLA’s Clarification:
Responding to the allegations, AAP MLA Kulwant Bazigar stated that all accusations made against him are false and politically motivated. He further declared, “If any of these charges are proven true, I am ready to resign from my post.”
The case has sparked political discussion in both Punjab and Haryana, with opposition parties demanding a thorough investigation.
